A Stressful Week

I have just finished my fourth week of my second year of university and I've just had a glimpse into what is to come - it's a lot. With work and school as well as general hobbies and a need for long periods of sleep, my free time is extremely limited. I got an assignment back today that I did not have a great score on - in fact second to lowest grade in the class and that set my day off in a bad way. That is very unlike me, as I maintain a steady 3.5 or above GPA in everything school-work. I'm not off to a good start of the semester, and we're already one-fourth of the way in.
Along with joking about going to Greenland to gather data with a public health friend and getting paid later on my mood improved but I'm still feeling a bit let down with myself. I knew I had to remember to let school come first, but with a steady cash flow for a few days of my time, I forget which is more important. Obviously school. I wonder very often how people go to school and work full time, pay for their own housing, groceries and outside activities and still manage. It must be difficult. It is difficult, and I only work part time.
Another plan has been made... along with video recording on Monday, I also need to set aside time to read my notebooks I spent hundreds of dollars on - no matter how dry they are. The work can only get better.
Sorry about a boring post, whoever is reading. It can only go up from here.
xx madi.
